Spinraiser for Connecticut Arthritis Foundation

Feb 6, 2015 7:00 PM

Ridgefield Resident Chuckie Namiot was first diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis (JIA) in 2011. Despite the challenges that he faces from his illness, he continues to thrive in school, athletics and in his community with great support from the Arthritis Foundation. While Chuckie endures pain daily at only 12 years old, he remains strong and is a driven competitor in sports. Cycling has become his passion. In 2014, he received a silver medal in the Connecticut State Time Trial in his first year in the sport. And most recently Chuckie has found that he loves to spin at JoyRide Ridgefield!

Please come ride with and for Chuckie and others like him. Chuckie is proud to be the youth ambassador for the Danbury Arthritis Walk to Cure run by the Connecticut Division of the Arthritis Foundation. $40 is the minimum donation and all funds raised will go the Foundation to help find a cure. Simply register for a bike and bring a check or card to pay on the evening of the event. It is sure to be a fun night complete with a champagne toast for the adults post ride and light bites and snacks for all participants.
